Folding Handle Khukuri

I finished a folding handle khukuri (testing prototype) and my son is out back chopping off all the low branches, he's having a blast, the knife is getting a workout and I don't have to do the pruning.

PJ: can you post a pic of the folder? I can only guess at how it looks. Assuming that it maintains traditional khukuri proportions, I'd guess that not all of the blade folds into the handle. Am I correct in my assumption?

It's about 12.5 in. closed with all of the blade exposed and 15.5 open. Don't have any pics of it, just a testing proto, but it seems to be working well. It has the same style of handle as the Uluchet with a khukuri type blade.

Click on the link under my signature. The handles have two opposing rotation stops that pinch together on the shank of the blade, pretty stout set-up.
