I have begun the process of background removal. I have trimmed away all the borders and now I need to finish shoveling out the rest of what remains. After that, stippling begins.
I hope it gets better reception than the skull on my buck. Some people liked it, a lot of people said "this is great except for that". When I made the design, I had no idea how I would shade it. I'm just making it up as I go.Really digging that lion nestled into your scrollwork. Very nice. Just checked back in, and can see you are well on your way.
Definitely need a work-in-progress thread for that one!Hey y'all what's going on?! I'm still working on this. Here's some development.
I'm working with a custom knife maker named Matt Collum right now to engrave a folder for Blade Show in Atlanta this coming June so I have to put this down for a bit.
Haha, I suppose I could. Here is my husband sitting at my bench last night, ogling the craftsmanship. This knife has steel bolsters and vintage 50's red micarta scales. Matt would like to not see any of the process, he wants to open the box and be surprised. I'm not sure if he is a forum member!Definitely need a work-in-progress thread for that one!
