I was recently viewing the 'cherry' thread where a guy made new handles for his ESEE-4. They turned out very nice. The thought just popped into my head that it would be pretty easy to make new scales that were 'longer' and covered up/filled in the choil area.

Has anyone done anything like this? If so, could you take a picture for me? I thought it might be a cool little project for those of you who don't like them.

I personally like them, but if you have big hands, an esee-3 and no use for a choil you could get a bigger handle, better grip and just leave a sharpening notch in your handle design.
