Forever steel Alkaid/thoughts?

I'd love to hear your thoughts on this knife. It seems to me to have a very creative design. I don't know if it's necessary, but it's cool as hell. Do you know of other knives look like this?

I can appreciate that someone came up with a clever "transformers" design, but it would be of absolutely no interest to me...as having to fiddle with it when I want or need a blade to be handy, would be counterproductive.

Plus, the more complexity added, the more chance for failure, imho.

I like in the same way I like Midgards-Messer's Lockin' Valhalla knife: cool mechanics, interesting design, but probably not something I'd own, especially at 585.00 smackaroonies.

I'm not surprised at all. Whenever I open the post of an interesting knife, it has one. What a cool guy. He is the owner of one of the best and varied collections I have ever seen (I say this from what I've seen from the knives he shared in bf) .

One of these knives I'm not interested in because they look like I would cut myself in real use. Might be entirely safe, but doesn't feel like it when used as a push dagger.

Note that I don't own any swords for the same reason

Cool novelty toy , ingenious mechanism .

But , for me a push dagger needs to fixed , DE and fast (rather than fidgety) .

The WE Typhoeus is similar, converting from a traditional fixed blade to a push dagger.
