Ok , thanks for noticing. I will waiting for another one, if u accept order;). I saw ur video at knife or death and Instagram, ur specialist style is awesome. Miao dao is one of my favorite type long blade. Seldom blacksmith made it. The Japanese style of decoration is totally ok, especially for Miao dao , this is traditionally Chinese straight blade(Tang Dao) combined with advantage from Japan Kan(Taich or Katana). The real world Miao (character 苗 means sprout , like u mentioned it looks like sprout grow from farm field)Dao fight with pirates from Japan works well. Usually it is longer 1.2m-1.8m in total and be slightly straighter. One type of high level Chinese martial-arts with long weapon is plating with relatively soft but sharp steel sword. The first time saw u at knife or death made me think ur ti alloy is the best metal material for Chinese Dao Jian blade. I really look forward for one longer version of ur Miao dao or Chinese Jian(剑, sword)made by u. I saw from ins u also made one Jian.:)

Yes sir! :D It was meant to be straighter but as they get forged and ground and heat-treated, the curves change a bit. It's hard to control, and they always have a bit of a mind of their own.

The next miao dao will be more of the actual size, like you say, longer and more straight. I now have a forge that is good enough to make swords that size!

The jian is getting close to complete, and I can't wait to show it off. It is bigger than this miao dao.

Agreed, that titanium alloy is perfect for Chinese-style swords and swordsmanship. That is what I've always thought! Chinese swords don't get enough attention. They are awesome.
