Visited my stops today and came across these two. I dont know much about them.

192 with star in handle and US Army, 1775 2007, Duty Honor Country on the blade.

Then a Buck 111 with custom shop gold Buckote blade. I think the 111 was a buildout.

I wish, you gotta count all the stops there isn't anything but Chinese knives. Ratio is probably 15 to 1. There was Ray knife at one shop for 99.00. I've seen the name before and I believe it's a Canadian maker but not sure.
Hand written Ray on the blade.

Ya ,I think you have a larger travel area for work than most do.
I only have one pawn shop in my town and occasionally drive by one in the next town over and it never has any.

I'm in Baltimore so you would think with all the pawn shops I'd be able to find something but nope they have had the same crap forever.

your problem is likely just being in Baltimore. big city always harder to find used outdoor tools. I cant find good tools in the big city near me. people like cheap tools, so Chinese made in the city. even at Walmart's. have to head to outer counties where folks who take care of themselves still live. not meant to be political more just is what it is.

Never really looked at it that way but ur probably right, that's the exact reason.

I live out in the boonies, extreme sw Kansas. It’s over 100 miles to any city of any size cept Garden and Dodge and still not much there. It’s very hard to find good knives except some older Case models. Gun shows around here do have some Case knives one dealer in the area comes to a few shows but mostly it’s cheap junk weird shaped lizard and dragon knives and the like. I don’t know ever since I was a kid I don’t remember seeing many Bucks around this area until maybe 1980s and very limited selection. I have to go to Amarillo, Wichita, or Denver to find a few nice Buck knives.
