I had this idea recently and figured, why not make a thread.
I want to see the quality of pictures people can get using just their cell phones. No editing, no other camera.

Rules:
1) Post a picture of your knife (Having a interesting/beautiful background or props helps!)
2) Use only your cell phone
3) NO EDITING! This means no adjusting the light/contrast, no filters, etc...
4) List what cell phone your using (I'm honestly just curious)

Doesn't matter if you took this picture 5 minutes after reading this thread or took it 1 year ago.

I don't have any thing to give away as a prize that anyone would want, but I figured a lot of us don't need a prize for us to display our beauties and photo skills.

All of my knife pics are with my cell phone. I'm running a very outdated Droid MAXX at the moment but it does the job OK.

This was my carry pic for today:

Great idea! Cell phone cameras have come a long way...although i have a couple of 'real' cameras, most of my knife pics are taken with the LG g4 or iPhone 6...i prefer the LG..

Taken with the LG G4:
(no filters or edits, but they have been cropped)

With in the last 2 years or so all the pictures I have posted have been from my phone. Never even thought to edit them.

I'm pretty sure this had no editing.

This one definately had no editing. Up in the bluffs, I get no service so I couldn't edit it. Again, 5S.

Nothing beats a DSLR with a little editing though:) Taken with a budget-friendly Nikon D40. 3 second exposure taken in the dark, knife was lit with a Nichia 219 flashlight.

Used a Samsung S5, I took the shot by the window, and used a pillow to reduce glare. (Originally posted in knife watch combo thread)

Man what's that little yellow spyderco with the thumb stud ? Please tell me they still make it.

BTW I'll post a pic here shortly, because I think this thread is cool.

I see you're from Lake County but I've never seen bluffs like that in LC. Was that taken out by the Mississippi River? Just curious...beautiful!

iPhone 6s, using Camera+ app. No editing beyond rotating it.

As with all iPhone photos, doesn't look good at full crop, but as a whole, it's a very balanced photo.

f/2.8, 1/60s, ISO 25 (not 250, 25).

Both unedited, clearly.... With an iPhone 5c, garage lighting, and probably a far amount of dust on lens. (All excuses, since I can't take pictures.)
