Has anyone used one of these? Lots of good reviews on Amazon. Wonder how it would work on real knives like ESEE, DPx, etc...

I've never tried one myself, but I've heard some not so good things. Apparently the little plastic teeth are prone to catching your hand and tearing it open and the edge it puts on is only ok.

I've hear they sharpen well, but only a few times. I guess they wear out quickly.

knife nuts don't let fellow knife nuts use pull-through sharpeners. there are plenty of threads on the maintenance forum but in short it puts micro serrations on the edge which cuts fine in the very short term but it basically destroys the edge.
