G Clip On Small Belt

Considered mounting a spyderco G Clip to Izula stock sheath for horizontal carry. Seems smaller and easier than even a mini teklok. My issue is, I don't wear a think or wide belt, not beefy leather or a riggers belt. Frequently what I wear is a nylon friction belt - single layer nylon, just over 1" wide, with a simple aluminum friction adjust buckle. With a belt this thin and narrow, would the G Clip flop around a bunch, as it seem molded to accommodate very think and wide belts?

Well, I dont post much usually just lurk; I have this exact setup. Got a custom sheath made and carry a cord wrapped Izula as a necker. For the stock sheath I iInstalled the g-clip which I tried with a "regular ol' leather belt. The fit is so loose the knive cant be drawn or worse yet returned without two hands (one to hold the knife and one to hold the sheath). I used paracord to stabalize the sheath bu tying it to a belt loop but eventually just stopped using it entirely. Hope you fin d a better solution,
