Recommendation? G10 Scale Cracks (Linerless)

Good day,

May I ask if any of you had an experience with G10 scales having cracks near the stop pin. I just bought a Kershaw Al Mar AM-4 (display unit) yesterday. I'm worried that the crack might grow and break the G10 scale holding the stop pin in place. Should I put epoxy or just leave it alone.

The crack is small and G10 responds well to epoxy. Display models are often "as is" and no exchanges, and by the time you figure in postage et al. to get it to the manufacturer, a drop of epoxy looks like a good way to stop the crack from traveling.
