The black and tan g10 handle look great. But how does the g10 feel compared to the canvas micarta? I'd rather you guys tell me the canvas micarta offers clear tactile superiority :p . But like most things I have the feeling it'll come down to that personal preference thing, I already know it's futile to ask the mag vs. standard question. I know, I better hurrrryyy. I"m on the order page right now.............

Go ahead and order it so I can come up and test it out myself. I have the black/snakeskin. Make sure you get the tan blade with the tan/black g-10.

I didn't like the g10 at first on the fbm.... was kinda sharp in spots. I simply took some 1000 grit sandpaper and just lightly knocked the points down. I've done the same in the past with micarta but out of the two I think I like the g10 better now

I have nothing bad to say about my Black and Tan handle.

I think both materials make very good handles.

Exactly. I have not done anything with sandpaper yet, may not at all (BTW, I think you only sand in one direction!!!). From the store new and unmodified, micarta feels better to me.

I ordered the FBMLE but held off on the CG until I saw a picture of the tan and black with the tan blade. Bingo! Had to have one.

You know my vote... I like the Black/Tan G10. I wish I could have gotten the LE thickness satin blade with the B/T G10 grips.

G10! ;)

Micarta's the sh*t
Best Handle material on earth, or so I think.
