Have any of you guys suffered from galvanic corrosion with copper/brass bolsters? I always try to insulate the metals from each other with a thin layer of epoxy but is this actually a legitimate concern?
Galvanic corrosion is not an issue with knives unless they stay wet all the time. It requires a liquid to be the electrolyte. Also, brass and copper are close in electrical potential - .05V apart.
