Hello friends from the Porch ,

I must apologize for my silence. New job, needing time to adjust, etc.
So I haven't been around much for my forum friends.
But you were in my thoughts and that's why I'm doing this GAW.

The rules :
- it's open to ALL the Porch's members
- As I'm a geographer I love observing the world, societies and landscapes.
So to play you have just to show a picture of you're every day social life. Don't try to catch the beauty of a landscape, an art monument or else.
Everyday life is interesting. We should all be interested in the daily lives of others 😏

The gift :

It's a knife made by Benoit Salesse , its pattern is called "Saint Amans" from his home village Saint Amans des Côts .
The handle is in stabilized heated beech wood.
The size closed is 9.252 inches.
It has a XC75 carbon blade.

I'll draw the winner the 7th of June .
Just add a "I'm in " or I'm in for , you picture and a explanation of what you photographed.

I hope your new job is enJOYable, Jean-Marc!! Not an entry for me, but one for Oldy Oldy , a fellow Canadian who has trouble getting knives delivered to his Northern location!! I am certainly blessed with many French knives!! I can easily forward knives to him!!
Thanks for a great GA!!!
Here is a picture from my front door on Christmas Eve!!!Christmas Eve 21.jpg
Merci beaucoup !!!!!

Jean-Marc, I often think of you and your wife, and hope you are both well, along with your wife's family. I don't enter many giveaways, but I would like to enter this one if I may, if only to post a photo, since I also enjoy seeing how our friends here live :)

This is me and 2 of my best pals at Castlerigg Stone Circle in the English Lake District, on the second day of a road trip we went on for my 64th birthday :)

I'm not sure I'm eligible to enter as I'm just not very social these days; not much spare time between work and a newborn at home. But my sister in law brought her pooches over recently to visit. Guests most welcome and better behaved than some people we've had around.

Congratulations on the new job! I hope you're settling in well.

I love all things French and am proud of my French heritage so I would love this knife. But seeing as I just won a GAW here I’ll nominate Rufus1949 Rufus1949 ij my stead.

Thank you for a generous giveaway of such a beautiful knife.

For some geography here’s a couple of hunting photos from the great southern land.

You are kind to think of me Jack. The pictures of your adventures with Basil are excellent.👍🏻

Jean- Marc,
A wonderful gesture on your part. I hope you are adjusting well to your new challenges.

I will be an observer with you and enjoy the sharing of everyone's lives.
Merci

I'm in for our Finnish friend Will Power Will Power :)

Thank you Âchillepattada Âchillepattada for the gorgeous GAW and selfless, most generous gesture.

In retirement and with no family, I find much of my socializing is with my dogs ... past and present.

Mason's first registry sanctioned American Pit Bull Terrier point show.
Mason is dual registered UKC and ADBA.
