Ive had this knife for awhile and it has me scratching my head. GEC 15 easy open, brown jigged bone, shield is stamped with only "Scout". Main blade is sheepsfoot and the secondary blade is a pen, not the opener like on Beer Scouts. I really like the knife. Question is about the tang stamp 153113. How come it is not 153213 to designated two blades? Sorry no picture, my gold membership has expired.

Altered? Upside-down airplane? Love to CF and CE it!
Send me pictures and I will post them!!

Obviously an extremely valuable factory error and highly collectable! ;););)

Oh boy! My ship has come in! Pot-o-gold at the end of rainbow!
Turns out I can post pictures but thanks for the the offer of help, Charlie.

They ran some single blade scouts, and I'm guessing that is a mistake made with a leftover blade. I have received a knife from the factory with a mismarked tube before. Sometimes there's a slip.

Well, lah-dee-dah!! :p:thumbsup::thumbsup:
(I've seen both "tomfoolery" and "rapscallions" used in normal posting today, and it's sunny outside with temperatures in the 60s. What a great day!! :thumbsup::cool::cool::thumbsup:)

I had a sheepsfoot single blade TC from that year that had the two blade stamp. I had never noticed it myself, but when I sold it, the new owner did. Bill confirmed for him that it was legit though.

Love the Scout #15. I try to acquire them whenever I can.
