I'm putting up for trade a GEC #48 "slim dog leg" trapper with crushed sea shell handle covers. Serialized #8 of 25.
The etch has been polished off on the main blade, and both blades are scalpel sharp.
The knife is in excellent condition and has been mostly unused besides sharpening and polishing. It is hard to tell from the pictures but there are very little signs of patina on either blade. Backsprings show minimal darkening.
Excellent fit and finish, walk and talk on this knife. I'd rate the pull at about 6.5.
Got this on a trade and am not really sure of its value, so I'm putting it up for a trade also.
Looking for quality traditional knives.
