First of all, I've tried. I really have. I promise. I think I'm just bad at this. Browsed the manufacturer's forums, did the drop-down in the archives, etc.
I even tried the SEARCH FUNCTION (more than once), but I keep getting everything but what I'm looking for... not even close.

Could a seasoned member be so kind as to point me in the right direction?

I'm attempting to read up on the GEC "collaborations". A full year, model, etc. breakdown would be fantastic if such a thing exists.
One chart I found online lists several, but I've come to learn that many others exist.

I'm specifically looking for GEC/Queen made Cripple Creek, Bulldog Brand, and Canal Cutlery (I think??) at the moment. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO LIST ANY OTHERS!!!
Unfortunately, Tuna Valley is just a bit too pricey for this ole boy!

Many thanks in advance! Take it easy on me.

The line of Robeson/Mastercraft knives made by queen are pretty nice and can sometimes be found for a decent knife. Also the Winchester knives made by Queen when Bill Howard was at Queen are very nice as well.

I don't know much about cripple creek and bulldog or whether or not Canal Street made any other brands. Someone smarter will chime in.

I know GEC has made some Remingtons - for example, the 2022 Silver Bullet "The Cowboy" Granddaddy Barlow and Northwoods, a lot of different ones.

I think what you're looking for would be in the production totals section of the GEC website. If you go by year it will show at the bottom all the special orders from them. So for instance if you check the production totals for 2010 down at the bottom on the last page it shows the totals for the bulldog brand knives they made. As for the queen made stuff, i couldn't tell ya. I'm not sure a production total list exists for them.

Well done, sir! I've looked that website over 100x and somehow missed that tab. Many thanks!!! That absolutely nailed the GEC piece of the puzzle.

Queen? Thus far, I've put together Colonel Coon, I think some of the Bulldog Brand (for limited years +/- 2009ish??), and their own brands as mentioned above (Robeson, Queen City, etc).

Trying to piece together the Cripple Creek and Canal Street stuff... Sheesh!!

Thanks for the replies, gentlemen! Much appreciated.

If you go to GEC's website, you can look at the production totals and they do list all of their SFO's. They made a few Cripple Creek knives, notably, in the 25 and 14 patterns.

Quite possibly, the most sought after GEC's are the Schrade branded autos they made near the beginning of their existence.

Far as I can tell, the only SFO's I know of by Canal Street are the Kabar Coppersmith series. The person to ask about Canal Street is ea42 ea42

To be honest, I have mixed feelings about your reply. I certainly appreciate the information, but I'm about 100% certain you just cost me $1,000.00.

The Coppersmith series? Yeah, I'll have to have those. **sigh**

Canal Street made all the Kabar Pinch lockbacks - even the non-coppersmith. I believe, but am not certain, that CSC made some of the other dog head knives as well. CSC also made some of the Pinch lockbacks for Moore Maker.

Thank you, sir! After diving into the Coppersmith Series, I assumed they also made the other dog head knives. It would certainly make sense. Forgive my ignorance, but is Canal Street on par quality-wise with... I guess "Queen" would be the best comparison? From what I understand, GEC is typically considered in a league of their own... maybe compared to Schatt & Morgan (Queen)? Is my understanding correct? I find these knives to be wildly interesting... the history, collections, cross-branded collaborations, etc. literally blows my mind. It's as if 3-5 companies have literally produced every knife... ever.

IMHO CSC is on par with GEC. I have some S&M/Queen that I'd put in the same category too, but they have such a long and varied history that I wouldn't make a blanket statement to that effect.

Edit: wanted to add that CSC did not make all the dog head knives. I'm pretty sure that the yellow delrin barlows were made by Camillus.

Gotcha! As soon as I think I have it figured out. Nope. Haha!!
I've already compiled PAGES of notes and I'm only a few weeks in...

There are a few knives that I discovered and HAD TO HAVE in route.

Is the WTB (want to buy) section still a thing? It appears to be deactivated. Maybe I'm missing something here as well?
I would imagine that this is the best place to attempt to obtain some of the hard to find stuff.

OK! I'm done. I'll leave you guys alone (for now).

Many thanks, gentlemen!!! You've been very helpful!!!

WTB adds are available to Gold and up members

As you're discovering, pocket knife lineage is convoluted. Schrade, Camillus, Queen, and others made tons of knives for different brands.

Ahhh!!! Gold Membership = 100 conversations, 250 messages... Sheesh!! Figured I'd be labeled "incompetent" by the time I asked 100 questions. LOL!!!

Yep! Very interesting the hand-full of families and manufacturers responsible for all (most) of it!

Thanks again!!

This is what happens when you go poking around a forum packed full of knife nerds and asking about extinct manufacturers! 🤣

In my experience, Canal Street quality was excellent and very consistent.

Good luck on your search!

Are you done? Anything else you'd like to add to the bill? I'll wait...

I know that Canal Street used Queen parts to make knives when they were starting up, but I was unaware that Queen actually made some knives for CSC. Any idea as to which models?

Some on that list were companies that Queen made parts for, not necessarily entire knife builds. Case, for example. I know they stamped blades and liners for Case over the years, but not sure that they ever did a full knife assembly (at least no written documentation has been found). As you said, that is likely the case with CSC as well. Queen also made skeleton knives and had others (like Michael Prater, etc.) do finished assembly, specialty handles, filework blades, etc.
