Been using it in the yard the last few weeks and I feel it could use a Sharpening - was wondering
what the Bladeforum's faithful were using to sharpen this bad boy....

A brick.:D

More seriously why not a fine file and a stone?

I don't have one, but I'd imagine just about anything that would sharpen any other knife would work just fine on it.

Let's keep the snide comments to a minimum here. It's a legitimate question.

Smith fine/coarse field sharpener.

Seriously it's all I use on my hawk's, machete, ect

Is this what your talking about? Sorry, I have a bad habit of buying a lot of knives and then
not using them (thus not needing to sharpen them) so I am not up on whats a good sharpening
tool.

I suspect that would work just fine. You might want to spend some time perusing the Maintenance subforum here. People get really crazy about sharpening things around here.

Yep. Works great on anything your not trying to get OMG sharp. I sharpened my trail hawk today and split my thumb putting it back in the sheath.

I have a special pull-through sharpener designed for axes. I use it on my machete and now it will one-swipe through 2-3' trees!
The brand is "True Temper"
I can't tell you where to buy it because i received it as a Christmas present, but I can tell you that it works great and relatively fast.
