Was going through my storage shed and found this knife and sheath. Where can I get info on it? I gave it to my Grandson and he is interested in finding out about it. Bailey Bradshaw suggested asking here.
Thanks

First production run 1985, used an innovative lock system to keep the knife in sheath
Designed by Blackie Collins
IIRC, only weighed 2.8 ounces due to the narrow tang and plastic handle.
There weren't a lot of them made with the Gerber medallion, because of the Benchmade merger shortly after they came out.

Most importantly, it was used by Kurt Russell in the great american cinematic epic, Big Trouble in Little China.

(Might have been a Tac-II...)

This makes the knife absolutely priceless.

Jack Burton was using the longer TAC-II, like this one:

As far as I can tell, the blade length is the only difference between the TAC-I and TAC-II.

Of course. I am also a pack rat of sorts, it gets interesting looking back through "stuff" accumulated.
