Get me up to speed on terotuf

I am really digging the little bit of 'give' this terotuf has.

Ha I was using a two finger grip to chop with the hdfk and it felt like there was no way it would slip out. Terotuf is like universal hand velcro.

Cool. Sounds like it'd work just fine then. And it looks like it has held pretty fast color-wise on your micarta :thumbsup:
 
so it looks like this only comes in one color... grey?

I’d also like to know how dying the scales would work. Would it degrade the strength of the scales?

Looking for scales for my HDFK if anyone has some to sell or trade.
 
Can anyone tell me about long term terotuf? Does it dry up, crack, gouge easily, wear poorly against a kydex sheath? Say, maybe 2 years or longer? I’ve had micarta for more than ten years that still looks the same. Thanks for any help.
 
long term durability, (+/- 3 years) is comparable to phenolic based composites I've used
