Never been one to jump on a new release but I've been on a bit of a micarta kick lately after getting my Ace Grand so when I saw this knife a few days ago and saw how close the release date was ive been mulling it over since... just happened to be home and bored this morning which is a recipe for disaster for my wallet and pulled the trigger as soon as it posted. Lol. Anyone else grab one? I got the green one.

They are pretty. I wish the locks were more reliable. :(
What do you mean? I have the ace grand and the lock is fine.. or do you mean liner locks in general compared to other locks? As far as I'm concerned the whole lock vs lock vs strongest lock out there is all kinds nonsense when you look at the intended use of the knife.

I had an ACE Grand, it had the most horrific lock stick and inconsistent lockup. Opening it very firmly would get good lock engagement, but then an extremely sticky lock. Failing to open it very firmly would cause only partial lock engagement that I could make fail with only moderate hand pressure. I do have a GMP7 with a really slick lock action, though.

Ahhh i see. Yeah my grand seems to be a pretty good example. No stick and solid lockup. My southern grind spider monkey has very early lockup though and I can force it closed with my hand if I open it real slow so I know what you mean. Ive heard of these issues though with every company that makes a liner lock knife. Someone always gets a bad example of one.

I bought one. Can´t wait to get it.
A liner lock is a good lock done right. Same with frame locks. Made by Reate you can´t go wrong.
