Wow, it's been a minute since I came here looking for guidance on how to make a knife. I was as raw as they come; okay, not really but I didn't know much. A lot of good guys took me under their wing and helped me along. Sad to say, some of those guys are no longer with us and I miss them dearly. But I digress.

In the spirit of paying it forward and because, when I was starting out, I hated clicking on a YouTube video only to watch some guy who had no idea what he was really doing say, "We'll figure this out together", I have started my own YouTube channel. It is dedicated to skills of all levels and I promise I won't demonstrate anything I haven't done a hundred times. I'll admit, I have a face made for radio but, I think most who check out my videos will learn something regardless of current skill level. Of course, I can't take credit for most of what I know; many great makers have been very generous in sharing their knowledge with me.

So, if you've got a little time, check out my channel at Rangermade Knives

I've been watching the Ranger Made video's for like a month now. A lot of good info in them and the videos are straight to the point. (No pun intended)

Thanks guys! If anyone has any ideas for videos they would like to see, feel free to say so.

I appreciate you showing techniques with such level of skill.

A video on embellishments would be a good one. Such things as file work, coining, inlet shields etc.

You sir are great. Though I think you have a Ft Hood map on your wall. Ewe

Love your content I have been binge watching it

Just posted a new video to my Rangermade Knives YouTube channel. The Moenworks designed carbide rotary flat platen built by Hardcore Grinders. Yes this is an expensive piece of kit and that is why I made the video. I get a lot of people asking me if it is worth the money. Honestly, that's a question only you can answer but, I can show you what it can do for you.
