Glock FM-78/81 , new colors, others discontinued?

There seem to be new colors of the Glock Feld Messer/Field Knife.
The FM 78 and the FM 81.

But the desert tan and olive tan , seem to discontinued regarding the FM 78.

Does anybody know what colors are available regarding the Glock FM 78?
Not a fan of sawbacks on a knife.

Grey is one of the new ones , also flat dark earth.
But is it only for the 81 with saw, or also for the FM 78..
 
My Google Fu must suck because I can’t find any of the 78 anywhere except the bay. Everywhere else I see it listed as discontinued. :(
 
In Europe they are still available.
Blackshadow.at has the FM 78 . And quite a few others.
I emailed them today because of my question about the colors being available for the FM 78.
They are only produced in black it seems.
The sawback are available in 4 colors.
Black is the preferred choice for the military is what I read and got in responses.


I didn't see a FM 78 at Amazon either. Weird...
Don't know why. They are easily available here in The Netherlands , Germany etc.

They are tough knives.
I put some through some very abusive , Noss4/hockeymask guy like tests.

For a soldier , the Glock knife is as good as it gets I think.
It doesn't weigh on you.
But it does penetrate like a bullet so to speak...

I had this issue with the CS Voyager large CP. Out of stock everywhere.

But now they seem to be in stock again.
Don't know what the issue was...
They were not to be found here anywhere.
 
have an 81 in grey. got it free buying some glock stuff awhile back. didnt think id like the sawback either but i was wrong. very useful knife for nasty yard tasks where i dont want to have the sand and yars grit destroy my better knives. its a better knife than i realized it would be. point is dont fear the sawback. it is actually useful for roots and such.

Looks like BlackShadow doesn't ship to the US...
