I have not shot this rifle, has Chrysanthemum stamp still intact, the front wood was removed at some point in its history and the original metal band on the wood moved to the back piece of wood, needs a new front sight blade as well which is cheap online, it seems to function fine from looking over it and cycling the bolt.
