Glock holster question

I just purchased a Glock 41 .45 ACP GEN4.

I can’t seem to find a OWB holster I am looking for Kydex or leather. I don’t need conceal carry holster. Just a good, safe holster. Trying not to break the bank, but would rather pay for something of quality/durability.

Will any Glock holster work? I’ve read G34 will work, but they are hard to find too.

Please offer up some advice. I know there has to be some Glock fans here.

Your G41 is a little wider than the 9mm Glocks so no the holster for the 34 won't work. In leather holsters the 34 would fit in a 41 holster. If it's for a gun that I plan on carrying a lot, I don't scrimp on holsters. For concealed carry I use Desantis thumb break mini slides for my Glock 42 or 43x, 48. Not sure you plan on this gun being concealed. I would still look at a pancake style holster. El Paso saddlery Tom three persons holster would be nice too I have had one of those for 20 years to carry Ruger single actions in, but they make them for autos too.
It's been a long busy week, I laid down for a few seconds with a Glock 43X on at 7:30 and just woke up about an hour ago so that gives you an idea how comfortable a good pancake style holster is

Looks like Vedder has some things for a glock 41 as well. They're a decent kydex holster, not cheap and not expensive.

Alien gear has some options as well, they mostly do hybrid holsters using a neoprene, or some similar synthetic as the backer. They get mixed reviews but prices are lower than many. Seems they're either liked or disliked, I didn't read too much in the middle when looking them up for my new hellcat.

The leather ones I've been looking at didn't seem to specify anything for the 41.

Safariland has 2 options specified for the g41 gen 4. I don't like the look, but I believe they're supposed to be pretty durable.

Search for Glock 40 same size guns

I was curious about that just now. When I would search for 41 on the various websites, it would pull up available models but then the 41 wasn't in the dropdown, but the 40 was.

That would put 1791 gunleather (inexpensive leather holsters) and Tier 1 concealed on the list potentially.

Yep same size frame. I just ordered a Desantis thumb break scabbard holster for my G20, the description of what it fit says Glock 20, 21, and 21sf only difference between 20,21 and 40, 41 is barrel and slide length

I carry a 34 every day. I also own a 41 but I don't carry it.

I can't help you with Kydex but I use a Kevin Nightingale Osprey for winter carry as below. Not cheap and you will have to wait but an absolutely fantastic bit of kit. Beautifully made, carries perfectly and it will last a lifetime. He makes them for the 41.

In summer I use his Peregrine for IWB carry. It conceal's a 34 with a +2 shoe so well I just wear T-Shirt. In 3 summers of carry it's never been spotted.

The 41 is a seriously good shooting piece. Around the same size a standard 1911 it's a shame its been so eclipsed by the 9's.

Feel free to PM me if I can help. I am travelling just now so if I don't reply immediately I'm probably flying.

Glocks are a holster maker's dream as they work off of frame size. Adjusting for different bbL and slide lengths is relatively simple:

A few judicious Blueguns and you can bout cover the entire lineup:

I would get a custom molded paddle holster. I now use a iwb alien gear but that has quick connect belt clips. I find it to be less of a PITA to have a holster I can throw on or off in seconds without undoing my belt. Makes carrying 100% of time I'm not at home easier. Also, are you going to run a small light? Something to think about now if your ordering or buying an expensive custom fit holster

I carry my G36 in a Mitch Rosen Gunleather hoslter. Ive had the holster for 15+ years and its still perfect.

I am leaning towards something like this…..

Okay here's the deal OP, I have carried a Glock 19 in a Blackhawk Serpa holster for over a decade. It got a bad rap from one clown the shot himself in the leg, but that was with a 1911 and if you practice and exercise proper technique it is a very safe holster. Flame suit on here, it's okay I'll take it because urban legends and poor technique from one You Tuber do not frighten me.

I used the belt pass-through, not the paddle as you can see. It has great retention, easy, natural, and VERY reliable release, tough as nails, and well under $50. It's comfortable and holds tight to the body and I pull a t-shirt over it and nobody every mentions it.
