Glock knife markings

So recently I rediscovered my hidden away Glock knife that I purchased 10 years ago in-store at bladehq, a model 78, which I've been practicing throwing again. I forgot how fun it was, and ended up getting a grey model 81 as a backup. But I noticed there is a Glock logo on both sides of the handle, and the logo on the sheath is stamped on the opposite side from where the 78 is. The 81 came in a legitimate looking packaging, with date of print saying 2019 on it. I don't remember what the 78 had but I think it was surplus without packaging. From what I can tell nothing about this 81 feels fake, in fact the logos and moulding of the 81 seem more crisp and precise if anything. The blade steel feels the same on a sharpener. They both came equally dull, have the cap on the ends... So I guess my question is could there be any possibility this is a fake? Or are there different generations and this is the most modern?

It is legit. This is the new marking style for these bayonets, you will find the same thing on new FM78 production.

Any reason for this change? Constant quality improvement? Or just time to update the older polymer molds?

Probably just new mould and extra branding to avoid "reproduction"… the thing is never out of production so there can't be "repro".

The dull blade is not a new thing about the Glock knives, they are made as combat field blade, not razor.

The fact it was dull was why I was pretty sure it couldn't be fake. Now if I received a factory sharp Glock knife then maybe I'd be further wondering about it being a fake. However the coating on my older one does seem to be a little more durable, so not sure if they've cheapened the coating material or application process or if it's just my imagination.
