Any Cubs fans out there? Are there metal detectors or pat-downs outside Wrigley Field? I'll be in Chicago on business and want to catch a game. Hate to leave my EDC in the hotel if I don't have to.

The link is still at the same place in the Blade Discussion Forum, to bring them here.

One link to rule them all,
One link to find them,
One link to bring them here, and in the forum bind them.

There are no metal detectors.

There are no pat downs unless your pockets are visibly stuffed or you wear a long coat in.

They will search parcels and packages... because not surprisingly they couldn't care less about weapons-- it's outside food and alcohol they're looking for.

Put your EDC in your pocket if it's small enough--don't wear it to your belt--and you'll be fine. And leave it there... there are panicky North Siders all over Wrigley, and if you pull out your EDC to shift it to a more comfortable location, someone will freak out.

Enjoy the game. You'll love the ballpark, but perhaps the urinals not so much.

Just remember that Chicago has a 2.5" blade limit on pocket knives.

GO CUBS!

mnblade, how'd this turn out for you? I'm going to the game tomorrow and was trying to decide how light I'd have to travel.

Thanks for the info.
