Good ball point refills for Rotring 600?

I just ordered a couple of Rotring 600 pens from www.paradisepen.com (the Arlington, VA store). They have a buy one get one free special on them. Service was phenomenal- got them on the second day! Anyway, now I'm wondering if there are other compatible brands of refills that someone might have tried and liked better than the ones that come with them. It looks like it will be quite a while before I actually need a refill, from the looks of the ones that came in them- they are huge. Anyway, does anyone have any recommendations?

I have a Fisher Space pen refil in mine (with the little plastic adaptor that comes with the refill) but I'm told that the Parker ballpoint refills will work as well, and are readily available.

There was a well-developed thread on this not long ago.

Perhaps you'd want to try a search.

If it came with the Rotring refill, that's a good one.

Better than the Parker IMO.

You could try the Parker Gel for a different writing feel.

Schmidt makes great refills.
They're the best, IMO.

Naaah, I'll pass. Thanks for the other advice, though.

I have a lava BP 600 and I love it. I also use the Parker Gel refills. They can be had at my local Staples at something like two for $3.

I use the Parker Gel ink Rollerball refill in my Rotring Ballpoint.

Excellent writer.

Thats what i use in mine. Writes better than anything I have used. They do seem to go through them fairly quickly though.
