Good deal- Leatherman Wave and Micra for 50 bucks

I found this deal on Amazon for the new Wave and Micra both for $50. I thought it was a pretty good price and I'd pass it on...

Thanks for the heads up. I purchased a Wave + Micra a couple of weeks ago, and was able to get a refund for the difference.

I often shop at amazon.com . . . primarily for books, DVD's, computer games and other trivia. I have carried a Wave since they became available several years ago and have actually worn out the first nylon sheath. Couldn't pass up the opportunity to obtain a new Wave.

When I checked out at amazon.com, I found I had a credit for almost $25 from previous purchases. With free shipping, I ended up getting the new Wave and the Micra for $25.60. Quite a deal! :thumbup:

But . . . there's a problem. The new Wave has features my old one does not have. Evidently it takes interchangable bits in various sizes.

Any of you have experience with the various bits available for the new Wave?

Would appreciate your comments. And comments on the differences between the new and old Wave would also be welcome.

The bits are proprietary Leatherman. They're double sided and the Wave came with a phillips/flathead bit. More info. here:
