Good japanese folding knife?

Does anyone know of any good Japanese folding knife with good, Japanese steel, and good heat treat? thanks.

I've never owned one, but from what I've read people seem to really like Mcusta. I'm hoping to have one at some point.

Mcusta makes a fine knife. Based in Seki, Japan, I believe.
Spyderco has a factory there as well. Most of the knives made there use
VG-10, a Japanese steel.

Spyderco Delica Endura, salt series, G10 police, and Stretch are nice. Mcusta are very attractive knives, and serve pretty well. That's all I got off the top of my head.

Anything made out of VG10 is from Japan since that is the only place it's made; that is why you're getting Spyderco recommendations. The Delica, Endura, and others are made in Seki city and are excellent utilitarian blades. I'm curious, is there a reason in particular that Made in Japan isn't as good as Seki City, which is in Japan, being etched on the blade?

Spyderco Stretch ZDP-189 FRN, or Carbon Fiber if you can find it. ZDP is one of my favorite steels, the best Japan has to offer.

All of the knives listed say "made in Japan" or "Seki City Japan" somewhere on the knife. What makes you think they don't? As previously mentioned, Vg10 is a Japanese steel, and nearly every knife using it is made in Japan. Not sure what the problem is...

Al Mar, Seki Cut and Mcusta are three of the more prominent Japanese companies. As has been pointed out, quite a few Spyderco models are made in Seki City as are quite a few SOG knives.

Most of the Sogs with the Arc lock are also made in Japan (VG-10 or VG-10 San Mai mostly) and are good knives. What kind of money are you looking to spend?
