Hi guys,

Looking to get a couple good utility knives for construction worker friends. I know utility knives are cheap, especially compared to some of the other "good" knives we like to carry. But I still want to get good models, and after some looking there are a lot more out there than I thought.

Although all utility knives probably perform pretty much the same function and a lot are similar in price, I am no expert on them. I am sure those of you who have worked in construction for years and used one may have tried a few models and have found some work better than others--more ergonomic, easier to change the blade, etc etc.

Please give me your expert thoughts on the best in the utility knife line for people who use them every day. Thanks guys.

P.S. I've seen a couple threads recently about knives for utility use and knives for construction workers, but neither are asking specifically about actual utility knives for construction worker use in the sense of knives with replaceable razor blades, etc.

No tools needed to change blades or access spare blades in handle.

Lennox makes a folding utility that works good, the blade holds tight in place. In order to change blades, you have got to close the blade half way, push the little tab in and the blade slides right out. Way cool to use
