This came in the mail today. It has a grippy G-10 handle in Ben Blue, 3.25" of S35VN steel, and a Clutch lock (it's made by Kizer). The action is really nice and it came very sharp. Love it!

The lock is adjustable which is very neat, and I love how easy scale swaps are. Blade profile looks useful, and they are reasonably priced. Great blade for tinkering and appreciating the little things that went into the design to have a fun experience. I'll pick one up soon, enjoy yours! This came in the mail today. This is something that Kizer brings to the table. The action is very stable and makes a pleasant sound when deploying and closing. This is a great user knife with a 3.25" blade @ 2.9 oz., and it's well-balanced just behind the lock. I've been playing with it a lot last couple of days. The lock is adjustable which is very neat
Ben Peterson of Knafs designed it, and Kizer was the OEM, like his arrangement with WE Knives for the Banter. I do know that unlike his arrangement with WE, Knafs did the Kickstarter, and distribution like the original Lander who was OEMed by QSP.Looks good man. Do you know if Kizer made the original?
Oh ok, QSP made the first Lander huh? That's what I meant to ask, sorry for making my question super vague haha. Yea I was wondering because I have a Knafs Lander (1) that I won in a raffle and never knew who OEM'd it for Ben. I like the adjustable Clutch Lock on that new bad boy, nice knaf!Ben Peterson of Knafs designed it, and Kizer was the OEM, like his arrangement with WE Knives for the Banter. Or did you mean the Kizer Original - a small button lock.![]()
I must have read that like 4 times, so I just answered everything I could think of.Oh ok, QSP made the first Lander huh? That's what I meant to ask, sorry for making my question super vague haha. Wiggle when it's closed?? What about when the blade is out? If yes, check to see if the the pivot screw is loose. If it is loose just screw it tight until the wiggle gone, no more. If that does solve the problem, just apply remove the screw, apply Locktite, and retighten the same way.I just received mine and it has quite a bit of "wiggle" when the blade is closed. Is that normal for this style of clutch/crossbar lock? This is my first crossbar lock knife and I'm just not used to a knife that rattles when closed.
