Got a new A-100... quality is better

Sometimes it's a crap shoot (especially as I live overseas) - but at least this specimen had:

- Blade centered and smooth opening
- Best detente of so far (but still weak compared to every other liner lock I own)
- G10 scale fit to liner is ok but G10 is above liners in some areas
- Less machining marks on the blade and liners than my previous models
- Early lockup which will break in

I'm less thrilled about:
- "Emerson" name on the black pocket clip. I prefer sterile clips.
- Will have to sand down the G10 or i won't have any pants left

So overall I'm happy. I'm just REALLY unhappy because I wanted a Mini A-100 and it's like they've been discontinued!!
 
Big shame about them Mini A-100s. I was after one or two myself, but ended up getting a full sized one, like you did.
