Another SOG inspired bowie out of 3/16" 1075, this one with olive green micarta scales over black liners, and a pretty cool hamon, too:thumbup: She's 11 3/4" overall, 7" tip-to-scales, with a small choil in front of the guard bringing the cutting edge to 6 1/2". The handles have (3) 1/4" brass tubes in them that have been hit with Brass Black to subdue the color, and the steel on the handle has been lightly cold-blued to match the etched blade finish, as well as help prevent rust. The blade has an almost full height convex grind to a fairly thin edge-she could cut paper prior to being sharpened:eek:

I'll let this one go for $150SPF with a leather sheath in your choice of Right or Left-Handed, or $130 without a sheath if you'd prefer. Price included shipping in the US, and any Paypal fees, though I will accept a USPS MO, also:thumbup:

Thanks,

Walter

I got Walters knife and sheath today. A fine job he did on both!!Thank you for a fine Knife Walter, Stabber!!

I have the brother to this knife---it's one of the most robust 3/16" stock knives I've handled, thanks to that deep convex shape, but it still gets appropriately thin behind the edge to turn razor sharp. An improvement on the orginal SOG design in every way (and I say that as a fan of that knife).
