yeah they do things a tad different.....that's true. I figured it would be obvious on shipping costs and the slight differences to pick which if he knew they were owned but the same people. it's also why he's seeing the same knife at both places as they share some inventory.True: https://trademarks.justia.com/878/57/grindworx-87857410.html
But the return policies are slightly different, and there may be other differences.
BladeHQ is a BF member. Grindworx is not, as far as I can see. Therefore, I think you should prefer BladeHQ.
Inventory, ethics, customer service, return policy, shipping speed, reliability. All sorts of different factors can influence who I buy from. Price is important, but I'd prefer not to end up with a counterfeit or a knife that another customer returned because I was dealing with a questionable company or one that wasn't knowledgeable about the products they stock. Not saying those complaints apply to BladeHQ, specifically, but while price may be the most important factor in choosing a dealer, it's certainly not the only one.I usually choose a vendor based on price. Are you looking to spend more than you have to when you purchase knives? What else could influence your purchasing decision?
Honestly one of, if not my favorite dealer. BladeHQ is fine too, only time I’ve received a crappy “new” knife was with Amazon. I recommend avoiding Amazon like the Plague….at least for knives. They get the defective ones, and the returns that get sent back from the REAL dealers like BHQ, KC, DLT, etc…at least that’s my theory.Dlttrading.com

Heck, I actually forgot one of the main criteria I use these days, which is proximity. I'm luck enough to have a really excellent knife store within an hour of me and that gives me the opportunity to handle before I buy, which is VERY nice.yep. ^ this.....
