2 Surefire G2, 1 Surefire G2 LED, Streamlight Nano, Fuel head lamp, Maglight 3C, USAA giveaway light that I love and hang in my tent when camping, and Eton/Red Cross emergency light (going to be returned, radio dies after a few seconds).

What's in your collection?

I used to have a lot more than I have now, but I gave several of them away to family and friends. Now I just have a ThruNite T10, Catapult and TN31, along with a Streamlight Stylus Pro. More than I will ever need. (I prefer throwy flashlights to flood flashlights)

Streamlight Microstream for EDC. Streamlight tac light, not sure of the model for social work. Surefire G2, it doesn't get much use anymore as it's not LED. A BOGO light, solar rechargeable for SHTF times. Several others, from Stanley to others I can't remember. Lights are like knives, you can never have too many!

I sold a few, down to what I need.
Surefire Fury, 500/15 lumens.
Surefire 6PX Pro, 200/15 lumens.
Olight M20 crimson, 105 lumens/night hiking light.
Jetbeam PC20, 416 lumens at top end.......I dislike "Tactical" UI's, but It's a good EDC.

Very nice lights folks.

OK up until a year or so ago, I was a dedicated Maglite junkie, pretty much since they first came around, and I resisted giving them up. I've had many of the 3D, 2D, 4D, and 2AA models. I've lost 3 or 4 over the years, had a couple ruined by leaking batteries - and replaced under warranty, have used them as a hammer to fix my vehicle in an emergency, and threatened to wack some drunk with a blue 3D model one nite - which did deter him. That same one got stolen from my truck, and recovered by police, and returned to me weeks later. I still keep a 3D Mag in each vehicle. They can be a very handy & inconspicuous self defense tool, if you have to be in a gun / knife free zone. A simple flashlight, in the back or front pocket draws no attention, and when grabbed by the beam end, can be quite effective against a rabid dog or assailant.

Having said all that, about a year or so ago I decided to spring a few bucks and get a more high tech light for when I need real light & small size. I did a little reading and comparing, and picked up the Fenix LD20, and have been very satisfied with it. Four brightness settings, plus strobe and SOS. Will go forever on 2 AA batteries, on the lower settings. On full bright it is blindingly bright, and strobe could really disorient an attacker. I've dropped in on the concrete a half dozen times with no ill effects.

I'm using rechargeable AA's, same as my camera takes, and I've saved enough $$ on those battery eating D Mags to pay for the Fenix several times over. Lanyard hole too, works well with a nice sailor's knot lanyard.

Lots of Peaks there, and HDS is always a favorite light! :)

The Pocket Stubby is a great light and definitely one of my favorites, and it is by far the brightest. Heatsinking on it is excellent. I have run it on max for 10 minutes straight and it does not get hot. Form factor is great but is versatile due to it's lego options. I happen to have the 18500 body for a little extra battery runtime, but you can also add the 18650 body or Triad tailcap. As it is currently, it is only a twisty. This is okay, but sometimes I miss having momentary on with the clicky. Give one a try, I think you will like it. Dan, Tom, and Sarah are standup and excellent people to deal with.

Let me know what you think of your Macs XM-L EDC and how you like it. I have always wanted to try one. :D

Addition by subtraction. Moved the Foursevens P0, Fenix E01, and Armytek Predator to help add this:

Need more specs !
I know it's an old ArcLS with twisty tail, but what are the specs on the triple ?

I have a few lights (probably a few to many)
Gen2 Maxabeam
Gen3 Maxabeam
Ryobi one+ hid
2d mag, 3d mag, 4d mag, 2x 2aa Incan minimag, 1x Led minimag, 1x 2AAA minimag 3x magcharger
CMG infinity
Inova X1, X5, T3, T4
Streamlight Ultrastinger and Strion
Surefires
A2, L2, U2, G2, M3, M4, M6, T1A, Minimus Vision, L4, E1E x2, 6P x4, 9P (bored for 18500 with oveready triple)

Muyshondt Aeon
Sunwayman V10R TI
Novatac EDC120P
3 headlamps I can think of
2x plug in spotlights (250mm reflector with a 100w halogen bulb)
Thor spotlight
A bunch of others I can't remember too

Oh crap - that's 45, just off the top of my head - and I told a friend I was pretty sure I had less than 50.

I know it's an old ArcLS with twisty tail, but what are the specs on the triple?

Muyshondt Aeon
Specs are 3 levels with mode memory (l/m/h sequence). The levels are set to 70mA, 420mA, and 1400mA (5, 30 and 100%). I have not tested it but runtime is estimated at ~11 hours on low, ~90 minutes on medium, and ~20 minutes on high. It will run off of a black label AW RCR but I am using an IMR for safer continuous use on max. Feels very solid in hand with some nice heft to it. :D

This is my first experience with the Nichia 219 emitter and think it is just right with a nice and clean neutral tint that has excellent CRI.

BTW, are you going to pick up the Muyshondt Aeon?

The only good flashlight I own anymore is my Fenix LD32. It filled all my needs so I had no reason to keep any others.

I have that same flashight 4th from the left. It's my work light. The one I got has a Cree 3W LED.

I know I'm not the only torch nerd!

No, but you're just beginning.

I've got a lot of good LED lights from years ago, using Luxeon LED's- Inova, Streamlight, Pelican, Nuwai, Fenix. I've got a few odd incandescents such as a couple of Streamlights, I've got some modded lights such as a 3C mag side emitter and a 2C mag running on 8 AA Nimh's. Then I got a few of the mag factory LED's when they came out. I went a few years using those lights and then discovered that everybody switched to Cree LED's so I have a Fenix PD32 and Fenix LD01 for EDC use, and a Cree dropin in a 2AA mag. Most but not all are in the photos.
