Unlike Cold Steel, in SOG's case Spencer Fraser hasn't been the dtiving force since about 2006 and he retired a year or two ago.

Hope it will be good but we all have seen what happens when taken over by other groups. Just look at Remington after Dupont. Ruger bought out the Marlin brand but Roundhill Group controls the old 870,1100, 700 guns. Just stampin out the 870 Express so far and video was not awe inspiring with ill fit and crappy finish so far.
