Nice! What a sight, so glad you finally got it!

The pics are awesome. I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the 2.7.

Sweet handle on the 4.1 ;)

Yes, it was THAT sharp! Yes, it is FLAWLESS!

Very cool. You going to make your own set of scales, or do you like the chubby ones it comes with?

Great comparison. I'm keen on a GSO 2.7 and also the Lionsteel M4. I also own a original GSO 4.1 3V. Out of interest how do you like the lionsteel compared to your 4.1.

I really like the way the 2.7 feels in hand , never even thought about putting different scales on it , now you got me thinking

I know the question was directed at our OP, but I think part of the appeal of the 2.7 is the chubby handle. It makes it a lot more comfortable over a longer period compared to something like my cord wrapped izula. Now if someone wanted to tuck the knife away and forget about it or lighten it up, then slimmer scales make a lot of sense. Especially if you're the type of person who makes custom sheaths!

Now, let's hear some more from Hale!

Absolutely agree with the above statement. For a knife that can handle extended periods of harder work, in this size class, it's very hard to beat the 2.7 with the factory grips. I was just thinking back to Ronnie's burlap rig and wondering if he had something special in mind for this one.
