Hi Buckmates
As you may or may not know I am a avid Mountain Biker - other obsession. Part of my cleaning routine is rubbing my bike down after being cleaned with a product called GT85. Its great - you spray it on and let it dry. It leaves no residue and leaves a PTFE coating to protect and lube - mud and stuff wont stick to a polished surface.
Its also great for cleaning up knives too. Wash as you would do normally - spray with GT85 - leave to dry and then lightly buff with a soft cloth. As far as I can see it does not do any harm to the wooden scales nor the G10/leather scaled knives that I have too.
GT85 displaces water like WD40 and prevents rust too.

Have a look... available everywhere.
