Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Just tell her you pulled something, which at your age you probably did! ;) Looks really nice, though.

We got up for church this morning and the wife's side is really hurting her. The docs haven't figured it out yet, but she has some more tests next week.
Fortunately we can watch our service on TV, so we won't miss everything. I had Beni out for church, but he'll just go to work tomorrow instead.

Best wishes for your wife !

I hope they figure out what's going on with your wife and it's not anything serious Jeff 🙏

I'm just stringing some conkers for the little lad down the road. Hope he's allowed to have them. I asked his mum how he was the other week, and she said, "They're at their dads." I apologised, and said I hadn’t realised she had more than one child. She said, "I haven't!" 🤷‍♂️

Cool pic, Jack.

It was a great visit, Barrett, and i got to fondle your Cosimo lunar lamb!

That is a beauty, Gary! Congratulations

Visiting my son and his family in Wisconsin. Grandkids are in school all day, and my son and his wife are gone to work by the time i get up. So i go for a couple hour walk every day. Took a rest in a small park/playground.

Always nice to get to talk with you, Dan. I hope you had a great visit with your son and family.:thumbsup:

The knife is an impressive, splendid Italian immigrant, but now that he's staying at my house, he's going to have to pull his weight regarding daily chores. 🤓 So I had him helping out with food prep for supper tonight; seems to be a quick learner.
My custom has been to always name my lambsfoot knives (and almost no other knives), so I still have to decide on a name for this Italian white bone beauty. Leaning heavily toward one of Shadow Lamb, Shadow Jack, or White Jack (since I already have a corresponding Black Jack lambsfoot).

Good looking Cosimo you’ve won there, GT. Glad to see you’re putting it to work. As for a name, how about just, “The Shadow”?

Hi Guardians,

I've been awful at checking in lately. The phone weighs a thousand pounds, the camera twice that, and the lid of the laptop thrice again.

Miami is soggy and hot.

I've been writing stories more than photographing knives. "Sometimes it be's that way," as the old song says.

I got a new pup - that makes three! Meet Jubjub. She's a Cairn Terrier, like Toto from The Wizard of Oz. Cute as a button, no?

As it's an unfortunate faux pas to show up after an extended absence with no lamb pics, here you are:

And some pile side - why not?

Hope you're all doing well!

Cute pup you’ve got there, Will. Nice pics of your Flat Cap Lamb, as well.

Hey @mitch13 , I spotted these in a supermarket today! 😱 Though they could be from last year! 😂

One of my favorite indulgences around Christmas time is the Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cake. They’re pure processed junk food that should only be enjoyed in moderation, but I love them nonetheless. 😁 I’ve noticed in recent years that they’ve started showing up in stores so early that the expiration dates can be a couple weeks before Christmas. 🤣

I've offered to give him an extra phone. For £11, he could get a sim card, which he could then make and receive calls and texts on from his friends and family here, on several networks, for the next 6 months. It'd be worth it just for the week he's here. At the moment, all his calls are charged internationally 🫣

That’s what we did when we visited, Jack. I think we were even able to get the SIM cards mailed to us here before we left, so we had them as soon as we landed. It worked out great, they were prepaid with enough data so we could use our phones like normal while we were there, and the cost was very reasonable.

I like two-blade Lambs!!! This old Joseph Rodgers is special!!View attachment 2975451View attachment 2975452
(Scratches are on the scanner glass!!)

That’s a beautiful old Lambsfoot, Charlie.

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is having (or has had) a great weekend :) Mine has been memorable, but I'm aching today! :D Unless Bod gives me a ring, I'm planning to have some time on the sofa! :D Have a good Sunday Guardians

Tasty looking pair of pikelets/crumpets there, Jack. I haven’t had one in quite a while. (The ones I can get here are ok, but not quite the same.)

Hope y’all all had a nice weekend. I failed to report in with my last trail walk, which was Thursday, I think. I checked off another couple miles (8 through 10) on the trail.

This section of the trail heads west out of Mound, and from this point on the surrounding area becomes more rural. I walked past a couple smaller lakes, although for the most part the view from the trail is obstructed by vegetation.

I spotted these guys along the way. I’m no bird expert, but I believe they’re ospreys.

I had my stag Hartshead Barlow with me on my walk, and kept it in my pocket throughout the weekend.

Looking good Mac
My Lambsfoot of the Week is Union Jack, the rosewood lambsfoot my wife and daughter bought for me when they were in York in the spring of 2017. Here's a photo of Union Jack soon after he arrived in the US.

Very sensible Barrett  I always recommend visiting friends do the same, but they often don't, even if they are going to be here for weeks

Thanks again my friend :) I need to go into town today to buy some bread. THe bread I can buy locally isn't very good, so I picked up a pack of bagels on Saturday, but the ones I've just had tasted like cardboard! 🤔
