hi guys!

my version of gyuto knife.

silver steel/iron, 19 cm blade, 2 mm thick.

I do that sometimes and that definitely gives blade some character but this is user and constant sharpening with that line would only degrade look of the bevel.
 
What if you did a soak in lemon juice for 30 minutes? I bet the lamination would pop. Nice job on the blade and handle.
 
I like your interpretation! This profile has a higher tip, which gives it more belly than a traditional Gyuto, which ends up giving the knife a European/Japanese look - great looking tool!
 
Customer bought a knife some time ago and I just recieved pictures of his wood work and I think they are pretty good. Everything is done unplugged.



 
This thread is too cool! Would love more threads that show start-to-finish forging like this. Nice lines and great handle. :thumbup:
