Throughout the years, Nathan has produced some fantastic hand-ground or as some of us colloquially refer to them as satin finishes. Although he is doing less of them due to time constraints as his business has been growing in the past few years, he always refers to them as, "going back to my roots".

This thread is dedicated to the Maester's "roots" and I am hoping that some of his earlier works will show up in here for us all to admire and to ogle over :)

My dumbarse used to own some others: a UF in Elmax (perpendicular to the edge), an OGFK, an A2 Shiv in the satin finish and an older 3V UF, but they have all been let loose to other CPK'ers to enjoy and marvel at. With my apologies to the current owners, I still own the copyright to those pics :D

Your elmax UF is one of the most beautiful variations (and knives in general) I have ever seen

Formerly mine via Brian(77) and then from me to Ivan on a trade with another satin CPK-UF.

The only reason which made me do the trade was because I wanted one UF in 3V and unbeknownst to me back then, Nathan resurrected the UF pattern later in the following year IIRC. c'est la vie!

Well now you have that also beautiful one in D3V. In horizontal satin finish as well. Very nice!
