Stamp a banana on the bolster. I'll take two.Since it looks like the bones have it, I'll be looking forward to casting my vote for this bad boy.

Aaah Grasshopper ! Do not the Tigers stripes help him hide in the bamboo?
And does the plain coat of the Buffalo not conceal him the mud?
And !......Does not the imagination improve the vision of what might be?
Is it too late to change my vote to wood ( by far the older and therefore more trad than bone).?

This guy is earning money, he can afford some good food for dinner. Hard working man deserves a saw cut bone Barlow.
This poor fellow obviously got fired, and that's all he can afford to eat. Is that Hobo Stew? He might have to settle for lesser quality bone handles.
He won't be working for long if no one buys his wood! This guy is earning money, he can afford some good food for dinner. Hard working man deserves a saw cut bone Barlow.

This poll drove him to Hobo Stew.He won't be working for long if no one buys his wood!
I think he's doing OK based on his extensive lawn tractor collection.Ah...visual aids View attachment 1574700

...and I assume that was soup stock in preparation not a meal to be consumed at that stage...I think the cutting board and vegetables in various stages of prep reveal that. After the stock is strained maybe those soup bones could be repurposed as knife handles (if not too soft) though the finished knife would likely attract bears.I was thinking more in terms of sawcut bone vs soup bone
It didn't occur to me that it could be taken as wood vs bone
Those pics were taken in ought '15 at the annual steam engine/tractor show in Boonville Missouri. The sawmill is run by tractor power using what looks like a 30 foot belt. I've seen them use modern tractors and steam tractors to run it.
