  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

I hope to buy a custom Bali soon and I was tossing around some ideas on handle insert materials. This is what I have so far. Any advice, experiences, or suggestions?
Thanks

--Carbon Fiber--
Pros: Looks good.
Very durable
Cons: Slippery?
--G10--
Pros: Very durable.
Good traction.
Cons: Not as attractive as Carbon Fiber?

--Micarta--
Pros: Very durable
Can provide good traction
Cons: Not sure how it looks in comparison.
--Stag--
Pros: Looks Great.
Good Traction.
Great appeal.
Cons: Not as durable.

Stag: Getting harder to come by, so if you can get them, get them.

My favorite is G-10. It doesn't delaminate or asborb mositure as the older mircarta's will, and has a nicer feel in hand than micarta or CF.
