The way the schedule is working out this year, Alayna will be with her mother on the official day of Thanksgiving. So as part of the lesson that we should be thankful for our blessings all year long and not wait for a specific day for it, we had our Thanksgiving Dinner together last night, Prancing Pony Style style with: hot soup, cold meats, chocolate cake (I couldn't find a blackberry tart I liked), a new loaf, a slab of butter, and a quarter of a ripe cheese. And we talked about all the things we are thankful for.
