I was trying to order a BK21 and the first two retailers that i tried to place a order with canceled the order and said that the knife was discontinued from the manufacturer.
The third was the charm tho got the knife and couldn't be happier especially with the aftermarket G10 scales now to strip the blade coating and find a sheath that is more suitable.
Anyone know of a good leather sheath maker that is in Canada or ships to Canada?

Not sure, tbh. The KA-BAR site says out of stock, but it doesn't say discontinued.

I’m glad I have one, it’s one of my favorites for removing small saplings 👍🏼👍🏼I’ve never experienced missing the sweet spot. I believe as long as your edge is sharp and even, your good to go

I went with kydex ,I prefer it . If it becomes difficult to find a leather sheath you like you might see if you like this option. The maker below might even have a leather option?

I found it worked okay for branches, just not great for chopping bigger sizes. Sometimes it would bite deep, and other times it did not, and sent shock down my arm.

I kinda had the same thing happen with my 20. The first time I chopped into a log it bounced back. It had the most wonky edge out of the box I ever experienced.

I'm not sold on the 21 either. I like the size, but it felt torquey for me when chopping. (But I'm only used to straighter blades)
I thought about cutting off the tip, but now I wont.

It's sad that they are ending their biggest.

I still haven't grabbed one. The 4 and 9 are in my kit, so as much as I want it, I've had a hard time justifying the purchase. I'll probably regret not having one, just like the 5 now.

The 5 might be my favorite, idk I'm torn over a few
