Good Morning Together,

today I decided to have my breakfast while taking a stroll in the forest near me...
So I packed my bag and my BK17 and started the day at a small pond near my house:

It is actually quite beautiful there:

After the dry summer (it really was much too dry here) the little rain felt good and the air was beautifully clean. After the pond the way went up:

small break to catch my breath:

and up:

...to the top, where I had my breakfast:

it was wet but not really cold, so quite enjoyable, even without a fire (still too dry, I wont risk a fire)...

Lunch: It was roastbeef with drunken onions and potatosalad:

Step one: Take your BK17 and chop up as much onions, as you want:

Step two: Take a good whisky and pour it on the roasted onions:

Then forget to take a picture of the steak...

And then you have a wonderful lunch:)

This is ot, but I'd love to have the BK17 in big (No, not the 7) so like 8"ish with 1/4" thick spine and the exact blade shape... I would love a knife like this...

Looks like a good time away man, thanks for sharing. Makes me wanna get out. Love the mock up.

Yeah, just one more week of vacation and then the Real Life starts again. I'll find some use for my Beckers :)
Is there a way to get a Beckerhead patch over to Germany?

Beautiful area Wasty, thanks for sharing. Looks like a nice area to kick back and explore.

What were all the stone structures in the middle of the forest for?

Thanks for sharing your experience and knife.

The BK17 was a model that I missed before they were discontinued.

Looks like a great design that made your trip even more enjoyable!

Dear Ethan,

Thank you so much for the praise:)
It is an honor and truly my pleasure to work with your knives, again and again these knives do exactly what you designed them for:
They work for a living! :)

I love moss as well, I do have a favourite place in the forest near me, I'll take a pic next time I head out and show it to you, as you'll understand:)

I'll pop you an email and I will be extremely happy if you send me a patch!

Thank you again for your dedication to your knives and their users, this is truly amazing
:) :)

Your package left the Darby MT post office this afternoon...I will try to e mail pix again later

I do hope there is more under your tree at Christmas than this...LOL.... I hope you enjoy... I will try to remember to get you a new patch when I am next in Tennessee... I snatched this one off a lawn ornament at the ranch... Thank you for reminding me that I need to do a new run of patches!... I am thinking that a variation on Knife Junkies patch would be good....
