What can you guys recommend for a big leather compartmentalized bag capable of carrying a laptop and a host of gadgets? I'd kinda prefer the old "adventure bag" style with the buckle straps, but I'm having trouble finding any online that give dimensions. I don't mind laying out some cash as I will carry this every day, and expect it to last.
I'd prefer leather over nylon to blend in to an office environment. Though the Maxpedition and Blackhawk bags are very tempting.

Talk about coincidence... I just came here to post that I bought a Filson F257 bag at Ramsey Outdoors. You can't go wrong with Filson. Super strong... lots of room! It only looks as big as my old one, but it can fit everything plus a laptop, with room to spare.

Another source for good bags is www.tacticaltailor.com Used to sell this guys stuff out of a store in the Seattle areea and the quality was great. Everthing from tactical gear (he's a former Ranger) to laptop cases. Even alot of the tactical stuff was well designed for blending in. The gear is nylon but is offered in a variety of colors and you may be able to get customized pieces. Good stuff
