Help--Any Reviews/Feedback on Ameriware Damascus Forged Steel Kitchen Knives?

Hello I am new to the forum. I am just looking for some feedback on Ameriware Damascus Forged Steel Kitchen knives. I recently got a 18 pc set for $599 and did I do very well for what I paid and how their knives compair with other Damascus knives. She compared the knives to Cutco saying they were superior and comparable to Hatsuri? At their website they list the same set for $899. Did I get a good deal or did she "see me coming.":o

I can't search so if there are reviews or other related feedback that someone can reply with that would be great.

These are the pieces I got.

Tray #1 includes:
8" Forged Damascus Steel Chef Knife,
3.5" Forged Damascus Steel Fingerpoint Paring Knife,
5" Forged Damascus Steel Serated Utility Knife, 6" Fork,
8" Diamond Sharpening Steel.

Can someone just query the forum for articles about Ameriware Forge Steel knives for me and just post the links in a reply? I would do this myself, but I cannot query with my type of account.

Any help would be appreciated.
 
I don't know if there are any threads about them. There are several similar knives to these that you could check the prices against, like Shun.
