So recently my benchmade knife has started to slam shut when I close it. It was not doing this before. I cleaned and re oiled my pivot, and I made sure all the screws were tight, and adjusted my pivot. Id like to hold off on sending my knife to benchmade until im sure i cant fix it myself because im in canada. Thanks!

Did you try tightening the pivot a little more? I know on my 940 I like to tighten it just to where the blade is not quite free swinging when I have the axis lock disengaged.

I did. I tried loosening, and tightening it but it didnt work :(

What do you mean by slam? An Axis Lock should close positively in the last 15° or so and it's a great feature that keeps the blade from shaking open in a pocket, unlike simple frame/liner detents.
