Hi,

Sorry for my first post being a begging one, but it's knowledge I seek rather than spare change :)

I have read the rules & it's not a valuation I'm after, purely a deeper knowledge of the items.

Could anyone please provide some info about these knives that have came into my possession? Ages etc

I suspect there is some decent knifes there!

Thanks in advance

First knife looks like some sort of generic Pakistan or India made bowie knife
Second knife.....need better pictures with decent resolution to see the markings
Third knife, Burton McCall clone of Buck 110 made in Seki City Japan, 1980s probably...
Fourth knife is a Lowen Messer brand made in Solingen Germany, need better pics.
Fifth knife is some sort of push button stilleto, need better pics
Sixth knife is an older Muela Bowie, pretty decent knife...

Thanks for the reply, got a few more pictures here

This appears to say "vandetta corsa" on the blade

The last one is called a "springer" a side folding automatic made in Solingen Germany. Rostfrei means "rust proof". Looks like a 60's version.

The one marked "Loewen Messer" on the blade was made by Carl Lutters in Germany. "Loewen Messer" means "Lion Knife" in German, the lion was the company logo for Carl Lutters. I believe that knife might be very rare.

The stiletto marked "B" over "Rostfrei" is Italian. The blade etch reads "Vendetta Corsa". It is a mystery who exactly made it, some believe the "B" stands for either Frank or Renzo Beltrame. It is also believed the knife was made for the European market. "Rostfrie" basically means "stainless steel" in German (rust free). The knife is a swivel bolster so it's not one of the really old Italians, possibly late 1960's. Some people collect the "Vendetta Corsa's".

The first knife (bowie) looks like a heavily worn older version of the George Wosternholm & Son bowie from Sheffield England.

Here's a pic of one-

Or possibly a William Rodgers version-
